Description

The 4th edition of the International World of Microbiome Conference (WoM 2023) will take place on 26-28 October 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The WoM 2023 Conference will cover various aspects of the microbiome and its impact on the human body - the pregnancy microbiome and its clinical impacts on the neonatal microenvironment, intestinal diseases and extraintestinal manifestations related to gut-microbiome interaction, future perspectives of FMT from microbiological and clinical point of view, development and target population of the biotics in personalized nutrition. The Conference aims to overcome the gaps and hurdles in the microbiota medical knowledge and therefore to unleash the potential for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Alongside the invaluable scientific content, WoM 2023 will also focus specifically on the networking opportunities, informal interactions, and supplementary activities, as the Conference aims to promote collaboration and forge new partnerships. Join international colleagues across gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, microbiology, immunology, endocrinology, neonatology, biotechnology, hepatology, and industry, as we collectively push forward meaningful research in the clinically relevant and scientifically important microbiome science.
